He has recorded on studio tracks with Ed Tree of The Spencer Davis Group, Rick Shlosser (former drummer for Van Morrision) and Dig Lewis (former bassist for Stevie Wonder). Other musicians include drummers: Ben Martin, Keith Erickson, and Jeffrey Brown (of Blueman Group), Bass players: Doug Haxall, Son Vo, Alex U'Ren and Jeff Hiller, Guitarists: Steve Kim (of the Alligators), Bob Boulding (formerly of Young Dubliners), Shawn Cunnane, Keyboardists: Mike Russeck, Mike Sweeney, Roy Fishell, Jamez Keyz and many other high-level improv players in the Jam Band community of Los Angeles. Along with Rich, the core of RSB in Tampa is Damon Navari, Jeff Dilly, Steve Connelly (formerly of Roger McGuinn's band) and many more colorful characters as well as a Los Angeles network of top jammers.
The chemistry of the band elevates the energy of the audience to euphoria. Lead by Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Rich Sheldon, RSB is comprised of some of the best players Los Angeles and now Tampa, FL has to offer. Rich Sheldon Band combines the diverse sounds of rock n’ roll from bluegrass to reggae and beyond. I'm running out of happy adjectives, so I'll sign off by saying Thanks to All.Musical Style: Modern Americana Roots Rock influenced by the rock pioneers of the past and relevant artists of today. Overall, I'd say that it was a PERFECT day to visit Captn Jacks!! She was friendly, enthusiastic, extremely competent - with great knowledge of their menu + helpful suggestions - and most of all, made my friend and I feel like the most important people in the world! Her bright smile and beautiful personality completely stole the show!Īll of the other waitstaff and barstaff that we could see were hustling and friendly as well, and I noticed that every dish that was walked past our table was beautifully plated and mouth watering!! The thing that made our experience so special, however, was our delightful server, Taylor.that needs to be in all caps!.TAYLOR!!! As I previously stated, I've always received top-notch service here (they must have a strong training program), but Ms Taylor has kicked that up to a new level! The food was hot and tasty and delicious, per usual. However, I'm kinda glad that I waited, because yesterday my (our) visit was over-the-top OUTSTANDING!!! We were seated at a table by the little marina, which is just a gorgeous view. that they stayed open later, but maybe that's a local neighborhood ordinance or something.Īnyway, this review is long overdue.
My only complaint about this place is even kind of a compliment - I wish. Have been coming here for several years with a variety of different friends, and have always loved this place for the wonderful atmosphere and ambiance, great food, and outstanding service.
